McInnis Cement is the first new cement company to enter the
North American market in more than 50 years.
In addition to building a state-of-the-art plant in Canada, the company will create a network of distribution terminals on the U.S. east coast. Catalyst’s established reputation and extensive experience in the building products market (along with our great work) certainly helped us seal the deal with this impressive new client.
First Impressions Matter
The most important part of a company launch is its website. We designed a fully integrated, high-functioning website to provide easy access for all customers, work internally among the sales team and support increased production. Did we mention, the site was created in both English and French? Oui! Oui!
The Power of the Printed Piece
A number of collateral pieces were designed to reinforce the company image established by the website. This included pocket folders, data sheets and a beautiful company brochure. We also created advertising for trade magazines using photography taken at the plant in Quebec.
Events that Make a Statement
It’s not every day that a client holds a groundbreaking event. In addition to managing a well-attended press conference with public officials in Providence, Rhode Island, we took care of all the details – from shovels and hard hats to chairs, a tent, signage and more. Plus, we scripted company spokespeople, coordinated media interviews and secured both local and trade coverage.
McInnis may be new to the industry, but its marketing positions the company as a power player. We’ve also had a lot of fun helping the team make its mark in the industry.
